On Thursday, May 26, 2011 and for four days, the Cultural Center Hrisohorafiton, Alexander the Great, is pleased to host the 65th Annual Pan-Macedonian Convention in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Heart of New England, and the host site of the national convention. The annual convention has been hosted in many cities across the United States, Canada, and Greece, and draws thousands of people. This year’s event also promises to have guests local and from a distance enjoying the sites, history, culture, dining and entertainment that comprises the eclectic tapestry of Worcester, MA. In addition, for the first time in Worcester, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America will be making a special visit and attending the activities. He will also be presiding at the Divine Liturgy Service, at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, on Sunday, May 29, joining His Eminence Methodios, Metropolitan of Boston, Father Dean Paleologos, Parish Priest and Father Gregory Christakos, Associate Parish Priest.
